Dune Lunel grew up in a printing company, where she liked to play with lead characters, which she redistributed according to very personal rules; she then called "lego" the aluminium ingots used to assemble the shapes before they were printed. She studied at the École des Arts Décoratifs in Strasbourg. In her 3rd year, she divided her time between the school and the Ruedi Baur Integral Concept agency. After obtaining her diploma, she joined Xavier Barral's Atalante agency with whom she worked for three years before becoming independent and creating the Dune Lunel studio. The studio is interested in the different contemporary trends that generate new aesthetic relations between image and text, even sound, and has specialized in artists' books, exhibition catalogues, notably working with the Centre Pompidou, the Musée d'Orsay, the Musée du Jeu de Paume, the Musée des Confluences, etc. It also creates all kinds of other graphic works such as visual identities, posters and logos.
